Terms


Please ensure that you read this page carefully.  These terms are provided for the benefit of the client and are required to be read and understood in the event that you are booking any of our tours, concert/festival transport, hen and stag group transportation.  On confirmation of your booking you will be sent a copy of these Terms your signature of which is required as your compliance and understanding of the Terms.

GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR ALL TOURS/CONCERT & FESTIVAL TRANSPORT/HEN & STAG TRANSPORT

Travel Easy Edinburgh operate the following policies:

  • We reserve the right to change the tour itinerary at any time due to weather, acts of God and events outwith our control and cannot be held responsible for such events.
  • Unless otherwise stated, food, attractions and accommodation is not included in the tour/transport price.
  • Due to the nature of our tours we discourage children under the age of 5 being carried on tours/transport.  This does not apply to private/bespoke tours.
  • For our day tours we restrict luggage allowance per person to one small/medium size bag.  Travel Easy Edinburgh provide adequate luggage space for airport transfers/concerts & festival transfers, stag and hen groups/golf trips/tours.
  • Smoking is not permitted in any of our vehicles.
  • Travel Easy Edinburgh hold Public Liability Insurance of £5million but recommends that all passengers take out and hold their own suitable travel, medical and cancellation insurance.  Travel Easy Edinburgh cannot be held responsible for travel, medical and cancellation issues outwith our control.
  • Travel Easy Edinburgh do not include driver tips in the tour price but if deserved are greatly appreciated.
  • On our package tours, concert/festival transport, hen and stag groups we operate with a minimum of 5 passengers.  This does not apply to private/bespoke tours.
  • In the event of hen or stag group transportation no consumption of food is allowed in the vehicle – eat your Kebabs before boarding the vehicle please!! and on that note…
  • In the event of “sickness” within any vehicle a cleaning charge of £20 will apply.

PACKAGE & PRIVATE/BESPOKE TOURS

Travel Easy Edinburgh operate the following policies:

  • For all package tours, private/bespoke tours, golf trips/tours upon confirmation of your booking we will send you a full itinerary of your tour/trip together with a copy of these Terms.  The Terms must be signed and returned along with your deposit.
  • For all package tours, private/bespoke tours, golf trips/tours we require a 20% deposit of the total amount of your tour/trip.
  • The balance of all package tours, private/bespoke tours, golf trips/tours is required in full six weeks prior to commencement of your tour/trip.
  • Should the balance owing on a tour/trip not be paid in full by the six week deadline Travel Easy Edinburgh reserve the right to cancel the tour/trip and forfeit the deposit.

CANCELLATION & REFUNDS FOR PACKAGE & PRIVATE/BESPOKE TOURS/TRIPS

Travel Easy Edinburgh operate the following policies:

  • The deposit amount of 20% of the total cost of the tour/trip is forfeited on any cancellation.
  • Cancellation of any tour/trip must be notified to Travel Easy Edinburgh in writing by e-mail or recorded delivery post.
  • In the event of cancellation of a tour/trip occuring less than six weeks prior to the commencement of the tour/trip refunds on the balance paid will apply as follows:
  • 41 – 28 days before due start date – 75% of balance
  • 27 – 14 days before due start date – 50% of balance
  • 13 – 0 days before due start date – NIL
  • Travel Easy Edinburgh reserves the right to cancel tours/trips under exceptional circumstances.  In the event of such cancellation clients will be contacted and informed promptly and offered:
  • Transfer to a substitute trip or tour
  • An alternative trip or tour which if the alternative holds a lower cash value will include a relevant cash adjustment refund or
  • A total refund of all prepaid monies
  • Travel Easy Edinburgh offer a complimentary accommodation booking service for the actual tour/trip only.
  • The accommodation booking service offered by Travel Easy Edinburgh is however a courtesy service to our clients and Travel Easy Edinburgh cannot be held responsible for individual providers.
  • Should you require any special arrangements to be made for you, once your tour/trip booking has been made we will strive to accommodate any requests made.
  • During the booking process details of the accommodation price and type requirements of the customer will be taken.  This information will then be used by Travel Easy Edinburgh in order to find the best accommodation price/type available within the customer’s requirements.
  • A single room supplement will usually apply.
